Two batteries for heavy loads The VICTORIA "eUrban 13.8" masters heavy tasks with the power of two batteries. Its extra-sturdy frame is designed for loads of up to 170 kg, as indicated by the voluminous tubes of the low step-through frame and the wide tires. One of two Bosch DualBattery technology batteries is housed in the down tube, while the second is conveniently positioned in front of the seat tube.
Both batteries have 500 Wh each, for a total of 1000 Wh. They provide the energy for the powerful Bosch Performance drives (65 Nm). The "Inter 5" 5-speed hub gears from Shimano, specially designed for e-bikes, assist in controlling the engine via the 4 support levels of the Intuvia displays to ensure the correct cadence at all times. And the belt drive, which is as quiet as it is lubrication-free, transmits between the engine and the gears and requires almost no maintenance.
Like the 70 mm wide Schwalbe Moto Balloon tires and the 27.5'' wheels, the powerful Tektro hydraulic Disc Brakes are also designed for transporting loads on the "eUrban 13.8". The permissible total weight is calculated from the weights of the bike, rider and payload or Trailer weight. With a weight of around 30 kg, this means that almost 140 kg can be distributed between the rider and the load, 25 kg of which can be carried by the Carrier.
